Eco-Friendly Tips
Water Saving Tips In the bathroom If you take a five-minute shower instead of a bath, you save about 15 gallons per shower. Install a low-flow showerhead to reduce water use by 50% or more. You'll save about 3 gallons per minute per shower. Install an ultra-low flush toilet which uses 1.6 gallons of water per flush rather than 6 gallons per flush. You'll save almost 4 gallons per flush. Install a low-flow aerator faucet to replace older models and save 2.5 gallons per minute per person. |
